This sign at the entrance to the next bit of the gorge warned of
cold water. The water in these holes is only a few degrees Celsius,
and even Tali only swam briefly. Past the sign is a water slide down
into a sheer-walled gorge, so I was reluctant to go down there for
fear of having to swim a few hundred metres in icy cold water. Other
people went on different "grade two" walks that were quite easy so I
could have been a little overcautious. Maybe, maybe not.
