We pitched the tarp as a windbreak and had hot food. Which helped a
little, but "the group" decided to make it a short day, helped by the
absence of the stronger riders who had started late knowing that it
would be a long day. So Sunny and Tali got to speak for Evan, Jonas
and Bindi. Saying, of course, that they would want to cut the day
short. I wasn't riding so didn't feel I should really put my oar in.
